    03.21.2006 The 2006 Los Alamos Fastpitch Association organizational meeting was held. Three local teams were represented: The Nighthawks (Mike Ryan and Roger Anaya), Rocksmith (League President John Eddleman, also Jeff Fredenberg and Jason Leeches), and Lightning (VP/Treasurer Craig Kelley). There was no representation from The Bomb Squad, managed in past years by Greg Erpenbeck.
    04.24.2006 The Los Alamos Fastpitch Association 2006 season has been scheduled! The Bomb Squad, normally managed by Greg Erpenbeck, will not be a part of LAFA this season because of player losses. Once again will have 3 teams in our league...
    07.08.2006 The Los Alamos Fastpitch Association sends two teams to the Men's Fastpitch State Tournament, held in Albuquerque, NM, at the Barelas Complex. Pics of the     2006 tourney can be seen with the rest of the 2006 season pictures. Both teams, the Nighthawks and Rocksmith, finished respectably with 2 wins, 2 losses.
    07.20.2006 The 2006 season ends with a combined effort, fielding two teams for a single game. A great cookout finished off a terrific season for Lightning, Rocksmith, and the Nighthawks. Thanks again to all of our     SPONSORS!
    08.28.2006 Decided to expand the Lightning organization to include a new team for the 2007 season-- Lightning RED! The existing team will be renamed to Lightning BLUE.
    11.02.2006 Talked to several potential sponsors about the possibility of advertising on the team website.
    12.21.2006 Looked at a bunch of new equipment for Lightning RED. Will probably place an order for catcher's equipment, bats, and other gear early in the new year.
